Well-Being

Have you ever heard the story behind this picture? Truth Coming Out of Her Well by Jean-Leon Gérôme. I know so many people have been caught up in, “What is going on!? What is the truth!?” this year. After a decade of going down rabbit holes myself, my advice today is to let go of ferociously hunting for it.

When you’re bombarded with the chaos of the swan song of a dying social system - whether that comes at you in the form of the politics of gender, race, birth, food, health, media, and... well... the politics of politics (that’s a whole other well) - go inwards. Sit with yourself. Tune in to your highest self. In time your truth will surface. A truth far more expansive, but also far simpler, than anything a thousand search engines could ever reveal.

Yes, it may be uncomfortable in that bare-all... meeting yourself without clothes, conditioning (the sister to what my children call “sham-poo” ;-)), masks and baggage; watching layers of fear and self-doubt fall away, and possibly even other individuals who do not want to support your growth. Do it anyway. Honour yourself. That’s the truth you came here to live. I believe that’s the secret to wellbeing… mind, body, soul. No coin tossing required.
